Automotive Collision experience preferred or willingness to learn

Auto Body or Collision Damage Repair Certificate, preferred

ASE credentials, preferred.

Welding experience a plus or willingness to learn

Excellent communication skills

Maintain a clean environment.

Self-starter and work without supervision

Computer skills

Must be able to use all shop tools including torch & welding equipment.

Must have a valid driver’s license


Identify and resolve parts required for repair.  Review repair orders, work orders and notify estimator of any revisions needed to repair the vehicle.

Follow warranty guidelines; notify supervisor of any repair add-ons.

Adjust, replace, and repair all vehicle makes and models (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/ panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of body components, electrical and mechanical repairs, aluminum repairs, etc.).

Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure quality repair.

Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including manufacturer’s repair process.

Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with factory standards.

Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.

Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25 per hour (DOE)
